Stephen Brindle spent just under 4 years working as part of the Ford World Rally Team (M sport). During his time there he was part of the WRC team working on all the evolutions of the car from 2002-2006 building and maintaining the cars to the highest standards. He also worked closely with the tyres on the car developing a good knowledge of the compounds, cuts and the FIA bar code system that are used.

Prior to working at M Sport, Stephen worked at an independent German car centre where he served his apprenticeship learning all the basic but valuable parts of his business. In 2006 he decided to branch out and start his own motorsport business. He is now self-employed as a freelance mechanic and a number of leading motorsport teams use his services. Away from motorsport he also caters for a small Japanese garage preparing their JAP racer 07 Championship Winning car and also a number of fast road cars and track day builds.
