During his career, Stephen has worked at a number of different motorsport disciplines ranging from the grass roots of motorsport to the cutting edge of the WRC.

Starting work in a small German car centre gave Stephen his passion for cars. At that time he also worked at a small motorsport business helping with the prep and maintenance of clubman rally cars. Upon completion of his apprenticeship in early 2003, Stephen left the small garage he worked at and took  a place with M-Sport - the home of the BP Ford WRC team.  

At M-Sport Stephen was part of the Ford World Rally team, with which he completed two full 16 rounds of the WRC Championship. During his time at M-Sport Stephen gained plenty of knowledge and experience in car build and maintenance, all aspects of build from sub assembly to full laser geometry setups. Also it was important to be clinically clean at all times within the workshop facilities.
