I contacted a few companies while considering a fast road setup for my DC2. Unlike most, Stevie was happy to explain the options to me before knowing that he would definitely get a sale. He gave me options and explained the pros and cons of each, never once trying to sell me up to a higher price product. It was refreshing to talk to someone who clearly knew what they were talking about but was also happy to dumb it down for someone who wasn't technically minded. This lead me to book the car in with Stevie.

Although having never met me before, from the minute I arrived I was treated like a customer he had known for years. Countless cups of coffee, good chats about anything I wanted to know and every step of the process being explained to me carried on throughout the day. Stevie asks questions about how you drive your car and what you want it to handle like and then tailors it to suit you exactly, even down to what tyre pressures I should run.

I left Grinspeed absolutely made up with the car and the service I received. Since visiting I've recommended Grinspeed to anyone I can think of and will continue to do so. After deciding to modify my car I started to look at local companies and the larger companies which were further afield. Unfortunately I found them too expensive or not qualified enough for my liking. 
After speaking to forum members on the Type R Owners club, one of them pointed me in the direction of Stevie at Grinspeed. At first I was cautious as it was a long distance to travel but after speaking to Stevie who was on his honeymoon, he put any worries at ease. He also sent me a quote for the modification while in New York!
I agreed a date and booked a hotel. When I arrived at Grinspeed the workshop was immaculate and Stevie made me feel very welcome. The work that was done was A grade and he was very precise with any adjustments made to my car.
